This gleefully twisted shocker from Down Under (though set mainly in the US) gives new meaning to the phrase "stomach-churning horror". Patrick Thompson plays a cyber-porn investigator obsessed with tracking down a pervert (Alex O'Loughlin) who he believes is literally fattening up obese women for the kill. A deranged cross between The Jerry Springer Show and Videodrome, this is pretty gross stuff and the bingeing segments - which feature a particularly brave performance from Gabby Millgate (Muriel's Wedding) - will leave even the most seasoned horror buff feeling slightly queasy. Director Brett Leonard (who's no stranger to cyber-thrillers thanks to The Lawnmower Man and Virtuosity) lays it on a little too thick, but it's still a horror dish that you don't see every day.
