In this good-natured romantic comedy from former Moonlighting director Glenn Gordon Caron, Friends star Jennifer Aniston plays a single girl who discovers that she needs a boyfriend to succeed at work. So she invents a fiancé using a photo of her with a complete stranger taken at a wedding. Of course, it's not long before her bosses want to meet the man (Jay Mohr), so she has to track him down, complicating the secret affair she's having with a corporate sleaze (a fun performance from Kevin Bacon). It's preposterous, perhaps, but sweetly done.
