A gang of outlaws on the run hides out in a deserted frontier town, which is already home to an elderly prospector who has discovered gold in the area. The bandits plan to steal his precious find, but their leader has a change of heart when he falls for the old man's daughter and faces a conflict with his own second-in-command.
